The Biotech4Food project was showcased at the French Pavilion during FIE Paris 2025. The event also provided an opportunity to take part in the French Innovation Contest organised by Business France — a great moment for Tanguy to present Biotech4Food, highlight its results, and demonstrate how EU-funded projects can strengthen SME competitiveness across Europe.

It was also a strong visibility moment for Valorial: meeting new prospects for the Biotech4Food community, and collecting valuable insights on market trends and the latest innovations in food ingredients, with biotechnology once again standing out as a key driver for the agrifood sector.

We were also glad to reconnect with members of the B4F community, including companies and partners such as Seaweed Concept, Arbiom, Abyss Ingredients, BIOREA, Wagralim, and FoodValley.

A key edition of FIE Paris

This year’s edition of Fi Europe Paris welcomed thousands of professionals from across the food and nutrition industries, with innovation, sustainability and alternative ingredients at the centre of discussions. Topics such as precision fermentation, upcycled ingredients, functional biomolecules and sustainable proteins resonated strongly with Biotech4Food’s mission, providing a perfect setting to showcase the project’s ongoing achievements and explore future collaboration opportunities.
