On November 4, 2025, Innov’Alliance participated in the 8th edition of Ambition Europe Day, a regional event that has become essential for all research and innovation stakeholders in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes who wish to learn about European funding and seize upcoming opportunities: Horizon Europe, EIC Accelerator, cascading funding, collaborative projects, and much more.
Organized in Lyon, this day brought together nearly 500 participants from across the regional ecosystem: academic institutions, public and private research centres, clusters, economic development agencies, SMEs, and large companies.
The program included: 13 practical workshops, three interactive coffee breaks, personalized consulting sessions, and numerous opportunities for networking and partnerships.
An active presence from Innov’Alliance
As a partner of the event, Innov’Alliance had a dedicated booth and co-hosted two workshops alongside other regional clusters and partners. The cluster team also contributed to a coffee corner dedicated to cascading funding, showcasing the funding opportunities available in the region.
On this occasion, Innov’Alliance unveiled the main features of the upcoming calls for projects from GRAPPA, a new European inter-cluster project in which the cluster is a partner, launched through the S3 community, Ingredients for a Circular Economy.
Bioeconomy and Circular Economy Workshop: Rich and Inspiring Exchanges
Innov’Alliance also co-hosted the workshop “Bioeconomy and Circular Economy: Boost Your Projects with the I3 and Horizon Europe Programs,” which brought together a large number of participants.
This workshop aimed to present European funding and collaboration opportunities for investing in technologies and processes that guarantee circularity, sustainability, and resource sovereignty on the continent.
The discussion drew on concrete feedback from European I3-type projects, most notably Biotech4Food. Innov’Alliance highlighted the role of non-industrial partners in supporting SME innovation and investment projects, shared the project’s initial results and deliverables, and announced upcoming activities—including the Biotech4Food study visit to Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand in April 2026.
A day dedicated to European cooperation
The Ambition Europe 2025 Day once again demonstrated the collective dynamism of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in terms of innovation and European engagement.
For Innov’Alliance, this edition was a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties with regional and European partners, showcase its collaborative projects, most notably Biotech4Food, and inform businesses about the innovation support mechanisms available to them.
