The Biotech4Food project has launched a new regional video series to spotlight the diverse innovation ecosystems contributing to the initiative. The first episode features Agrifood Clust-ER and offers a closer look at local partners, their work, and how biotechnology is driving innovation in sustainable food systems.

Throughout the project, a total of eight videos will be produced—one for each participating region. These videos will highlight regional ecosystems, key actors, and the transformative role of biotechnology in promoting circularity and resilience in the agrifood sector.

This first video focuses on Bugslab, a partner company of Agrifood Clust-ER specializing in insect-based solutions for food and other innovative applications. It features interviews with Francesco Latino and Salvatore di Mauro (CEO and Co-founder of Bugslab), along with Prof. Francesco Fenga, who share insights into how biotechnology is reshaping the agrifood landscape in a more sustainable and circular direction.

This marks the beginning of an exciting journey across Europe, uncovering the stories, technologies, and people helping to build a more sustainable future through Biotech4Food.

Stay tuned for the next episode in the series!
