On December 02th we are going to be attempting to PITCH PERFECT AND BOOST THE EUROPEAN BIOECONOMY 2024 event in Belgium. As it is described in their webpage, the Pitchperfect event is a two day event of intense cross-border and cross-sectoral pitching, matchmaking and networking, with the aim to link industry to innovative (biobased) technologies, innovators to investors and to create new partnerships for the future and the further development of innovative, cross-border and cross-sectoral industrial value chains in the biobased economy.
As part of the Biotech4Food project we want to start sharing events that we find interesting for our public. That’s why we not only will share our own events but we will also about other conferences, assemblies, workshops and other types of meeting that are external to the Biotech4Food project.
The event will take place the December 2nd and the 3th in the Sheraton Brussels Airport Hotel, where the attendants will be able to do pitching, matchmaking, networking about AI, bioeconomy, gas fermentation, etc.
Why Pitch Perfect & Boost the European Bioeconomy 2024?
Because, as the title of the event says, this a date to share ideas between different bioindustries and biotechnologies. Biotech4Food is a cross-border European project that pretends to work and investigate about the application of biotechnology in the agrifood industry, promote their benefits, give examples of biotechnologies that we use in our daily life, like fermentation, or explain the last developments on these areas.
In this event we will have the opportunity to different agents of the industry and create important contact chains in order to create partnerships for the future. In the Biotechnology case, we have seen that there is a lot of investigation going on and a big interest between investors. However, most of the times it is difficult for investigators and investors to contact and this makes almost impossible that these achievements get translated into real products.
That’s why events like PITCHPERFECT can help us to build these relationships and start applying this new technology for improving our quality of life.
Type of activities:
- · Pitching & Call for Pitch Abstracts: Attendants will be able to apply for a 7 minute pitch their innovative project or solution in front of a group of almost 40 investors.
- · Matchmaking: The organizations give you access to an app supported by B2B partnering software where start-ups, investors, scale-ups, SMEs, research organizations and other stakeholders will get connected.
- · Innovation scouting: On this session European innovators, start-ups, and spin-offs from the biobased sector will present solutions and innovative projects related with this topic. Also investors will be able to ask about the difficulties and barriers that this technology may find and how to surpass them.
- Networking: The event facilitates the access to a digital tool called SWAPCARD and attendants will have access to a big venue with different rooms and spaces, some of them dedicated to the networking tasks.
- Satellite events: Different sessions that will take place during the celebration of the main event. The audience will be able to assist to this sessions on different rooms and places.
